Cellulite Control Therapy

This treatment can get you in shape and reduce weight and unsightly cellulite. We have the perfect program for permanent weight and cellulite reduction. The method is effective and there is no pain or discomfort with average weight loss 6-26lbs.

Cellulite is a buildup of fat between connective tissue and muscle. The fat creates a dimpled effect because the connective tissue is criss-crossed in X shapes underneath your skin.

Cellulite is stubborn and singular formation of fat cell that does not respond to diet and exercise like regular. Cellulite occurs when the fat cells, become enlarged and bloated. Each subcutaneous fat cell is contained in a fiber compartment, which is attached to the skin layer above. When fat cells bloat, they stretch their fiber casings thin, causing them to pull on the layer of skin above. This causes the dimpling effect we're so used to seeing.

What causes fat cells to bloat? Poor circulation is one culprit. The normal functioning of the body's cells depends on free circulation of bodily fluids such as blood, water, and lymph. These fluids bring nourishment to the cells, as well as take away toxins and wastes expelled from the cells in their natural course of living. One theory is that when the bodily fluids become sluggish, they become trapped in the fibrous bindings of the fat cells, causing bloating. Poor circulation of body fluids in the epidermal layer may cause skin eruptions and a dull, poor complexion as well.

Diet is also a factor in bloated fat cells. However, it's not simply an overabundance of fat that swells fat cells. Too much salt in the diet will also do the job, as it causes the body to retain water, which in turn bloats the fatty tissues. Caffeine slows circulation of bodily fluids. Alcohol, sugar, and refined grains such as white bread and rice increase the amount of fat stored in the body, causing fat cell bloat.

Special Treatment for Quitting Smoking and Drugs

Needles are placed or pressure applied in areas of the body associated with certain nerves believed to play a role in the specific health problem. The stimulation on selected acupuncture points is thought to make your body produce natural medicines such as endorphins (a brain chemical involved in producing pain relief and pleasure). These agents are believed to block your "pleasure response" to tobacco and to decrease the withdrawal symptoms that normally occur with quitting.

The treatment involves the insertion of 4 to 6 needles into well-defined acupuncture points. The treatment is painless. A minimum of two to six treatments is recommended according to the severity of the case and the frequency of the patient¡¯s visit. Some people return for one to three follow-up treatments.

We often place tiny magnetic balls on selected ear points of patients to maintain the stimulation. When the smokers get a craving for a cigarette, they stimulate the magnets on their ears. Acupuncture works best with other methods of quitting, such as counseling.

According to the COHIS, success with acupuncture alone has been considered to be fairly low. Quit rates at one year have reportedly ranged from 8% to 40%.

Special Treatment for All Pain Syndromes

Acupuncture is an effective way to relieve pains. It betters the painful area's blood and Qi circulation which brings more nutrients to nourish the area and strengthen the immune system. Moreover it stimulates the body into producing endorphin. The effect for pain relief is 200 times more than morphine. Since no chemical is used, there are no side effects and it is non-addictive. Acupuncture treatment is sometimes applied in conjunction with electrodes. The treatment directly repairs damages in nerves, tendons, muscles, and soft tissues. Not only does it relieve pain, it also heals.

Acupuncture also treats hypersensitive skin and skin allergy. Hypersensitive skin and skin allergy is usually caused by allergy constitution. It manifests as the acute onset, erythematic, papula, blister, large blister and subjective itching. Exogenous substances and ingenuous imbalance of the organs in the body easily irritate this type of skin. Exogenous substances includes dust, pollution, pollen and certain sea food. Ingenuous imbalance can be blood deficiency, damp heat accumulation in the body according to Chinese traditional medicine. Acupuncture can adjust imbalance from both exterior and interior disturbance by stimulating specific points to invigorate blood, reduce dampness and relieve exogenous irritation.

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs for Rosacea and Acne Rosacea is a chronic, highly visible skin condition, marked by acute swelling and inflammation. It may begin with a tendency to flush easily, then progress to persistent erythema (redness of skin) and telangiectasia (enlarged blood vessels) along with papules and pustules of the cheeks; nose; forehead; and chin. In more serious cases, the nose is red and bumpy, and the eyes become gritty and red, with a possible loss of vision.

Acne: Acne usually affects a younger population with the skin eruptions usually confined to the back and chest. This is not toxic heat, as in normal acne. However, the patient will manifest redness of the skin and enlarged blood vessels.

It is important for the patients to know about the triggers for rosacea. Be aware that a hereditary predisposition can be a major contributing factor of this chronic, progressive, vascular disorder. Early treatment is essential.

Acupuncture and herbs can reduce the heat accumulation in the meridians, stomach and lungs, which are usually the root causes of these two complains according to Chinese Traditional Medicine. Since there are no chemicals involved, there are no side effects.

Special Treatment for Infertility

Rachel has many successes of treating infertility both in China and in USA. Seeing is believing.

Acupuncture can increase fertility by increasing blood flow in the body. This can provide a woman's reproductive organs with more nourishment and can increase the density of the uterine wall. For women who cannot become pregnant because of endometriosis, in which the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, acupuncture can increase blood flow to relax and quiet the endometrium - something Western doctors achieve through progestogen hormonal therapies.

Results from a recent study indicate that adding acupuncture to the treatment protocol of IVF patients greatly enhances their chances of becoming pregnant.

According to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, energy flows through the body along defined pathways, or meridians. Acupuncture is a means of influencing this energy to induce a desired physiological effect. Points were chosen for these patients along the spleen and stomach meridians in an effort to positively influence blood flow and energy to the uterus and to provide a sedative effect. Additional needles may be inserted in the patients' ears to influence the uterus and stabilize the endocrine system. Needles were left in place for 25 minutes while the patients rested. I have been helping not only IVF patients, but also people with infertility due to Qi and blood deficiency, kidney essence deficiency, damp phlegm blocking energy from both men and wemen.

Foot and Hand Reflexology Treatment

Foot and Hand Reflexology Treatment is the precious heritage of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Foot is similar to the root of the tree, which gets prosperous from the root, and weak from the root too. Reflexology is the time-proven science of enhancing health and well-being by stimulating defined reflex points on the feet and hands.

Reflexology is an ancient form of "pressure treatment" and involves applying focused pressure to certain known "reflex" points located in the foot and hands, which correspond to certain other areas in the body. For example, if a person were having great difficulty communicating something, the throat chakra of the foot would be sore and tender. Some of the recognized benefits from receiving a reflexology treatment include increased circulation, relaxation, and release of tensions. Other benefits discovered include clearing of emotional debris, detoxification of organs, rejuvenation of tired tissues and cells. It is very helpful to treating hypertension, insomnia, constipation and diabetes.
